WQ6X Wangles SP-DX RTTY and the Ssb SPRINT

Being a 5-weekend month this year, April brings us a handful of low volume contest GiGs to round
out the month.  For the 4th weekend, the SP-DX RTTY contests were the GiGs of choice, altho for both events, it is amazing that WQ6X managed to submit any reasonably competitive scores at all.  The BARTG-75 Sprint contest ALSO happened that weekend, however, only ONE contact found its way into that LoG.

Essentially, radiosport-wise the weekend involved 3 disparate contest events:

  • [X] - SP DX RTTY Contest (24 Hours)
  • [X] - NA SPRINT Ssb Contest (4 Hours)
  • [X] - The BARTG-75 SPRINT Contest (4 Hours)

As you can see from the above Space-WX picture, solar calmness was not be found for the
April-ending weekend.  Maybe that explains only ONE (1) QSO made it into the BARTG-75 LoG.  HuH?  Wassup with that?

The NA SPRINT Ssb GiG was ALSO a disappointment.  Running direct from W7AYT's Concord Signal-vortex QTH, a WHOPPING 32 contacts actually made it into the log - at LEAST I can say
that I was there.

The SP DX RTTY contest results nearly mirrored Ssb SPRINT, putting only 30 actual contacts
into the RTTY Log.

This is what the main computer screen(s) LooKed like when it was all over.

DiD YOU run any of the contest events?

Is WQ6X in any of YOUR LoGs?
